Spotted something we got wrong? Tell us

Questions, article ideas and corrections from readers help keep our guides accurate. If something in a guide has changed, doesn’t match what you found or leaves out something you needed, we’d genuinely like to hear from you.

You can write to us through our contact form or by email at [email protected]. Everything goes to one editorial inbox.

Spotted something we got wrong? Tell us

What we’d like to hear about

  • Corrections. A fact that’s wrong, a detail that’s changed, a broken link or a source that says something different. Tell us which guide it is and what you found, and include a link to your source if you have one.
  • Questions. A planning question the guide didn’t answer. It’s worth checking the guide first, as the answer may already be there.
  • Article ideas. A topic you’d like us to cover, or a gap in one of our guides. Tell us what you’re trying to plan or decide.
  • Tips. Something useful you learned on the ground that other readers should know.

On the form, choose what your message is about. That way, corrections can be dealt with first.

How we handle a correction

How we handle a correction

  1. You send the correction by form or email. If you use the form, you’ll see a confirmation on screen and get a short automatic email to say it arrived.
  2. The editor reads it and checks it against the source.
  3. If the correction stands, we update the guide where it sits and change its last-updated date. We don’t republish it at a new address, so saved links keep working.
  4. We reply to let you know. We aim to reply within 24–48 hours.

Questions get a direct reply. Questions that come up often may become new guides, and article ideas are logged for our editorial plan. We can’t promise to write about every suggested topic, but we do read every suggestion.

What we can’t help with

We’re a publication, not a tour operator, booking service, clinic or agency. Some messages are better sent elsewhere:

  • Urgent safety matters, park closures or campground bookings: contact the relevant authority or operator, such as Parks Victoria.
  • Tours, winery visits or cosmetic tattoo appointments: book directly with the business.
  • Personal medical, skin or aftercare advice: ask a qualified practitioner. Our guides are general information, not personal advice.
  • Paid guest posts, link placements, and SEO or marketing pitches: we don’t take these.

Will anyone actually read it?

Yes. We’re a small team, and the editor reads and sorts every message. We collect only the details you choose to share when you contact us, and we use them to reply. We don’t sell personal information. Our privacy policy has the detail.

If your correction is about a hiking or cosmetic tattoo guide, don’t wait for our reply. Check with the official operator or your practitioner before you act on anything.

If your question is a common one, the relevant guide may already answer it. While you wait for a reply, see what we publish.
