Before you plan around a guide

A quick check first.

✓  Read the byline and publish date at the top of the guide.

✓  Note the read time. Recent guides run 15–17 minutes, so set aside a proper sitting.

✓  Check live park, road and weather conditions with the official source before you leave.

✓  Read the general-information note. It links to our Terms.

✓  Spotted something out of date? Use the corrections link and tell us.

A — The publication

Who's behind this?

Is this a real publication?

Yes. Editorialnortesur is a small, independent Australian guide site. We publish free, long-form guides on wine and food travel, hiking and the outdoors, personal care, and digital strategy. We’re online only, with no shopfront. New pieces go up whenever there’s something worth saying, not to fill a schedule. You can read more about the publication.

Who writes the guides?

Every guide carries a byline, so you can see who wrote it. Isaac Bramwell founded the site and edits it as curator. He works in content marketing, which is where the digital guides come from. Carys Lindley is a travel and tourism writer based in Adelaide. She writes practical travel guides like Best Wine Touring Seasons In Australia 2026.

How current is a guide, and where's the date?

The publish date sits at the top of every guide, alongside the byline and read time. Use it to judge how fresh the detail is. We check each guide against more than one source before it goes out. Even so, things change, and we can’t guarantee any page is complete or up to date. Read how a guide gets checked.

B1

Can you book a tour or trip for me?

No. Nothing is sold or booked on this site. We aren’t a travel agent or tour operator. A guide like the Grampians Peaks Trail guide helps you plan. Bookings go through the operator or park authority directly.

B2

Can I get personal advice?

No. Our guides are general information only. We aren’t a cosmetic tattoo clinic or a content marketing agency, either. Pieces like Swimming After A New Tattoo explain the trade-offs. For your own situation, talk to a qualified professional who can see it first-hand.

B3

Where do I check live park or road conditions?

With official sources: the relevant park authority, state road agency and weather service. A guide can’t track closures, alerts or snow-road rules as they happen. Our snow fields driving guide covers the planning. Check the day’s conditions just before you leave.

C — Corrections & ideas

Spotted
an error?

Please tell us. Every guide invites corrections and links to them. If a car park has moved, a trail access point has changed or a figure looks wrong, send us a note through the contact form. Include the guide and what you saw. The same form works for article ideas and questions a guide didn’t answer.

How soon will you reply?

We reply within 24–48 hours. You can also email [email protected]. For urgent safety matters, park closures or booking problems, go straight to the relevant authority or operator.
