What this page covers

Our guides are long, but a trip, a trail or a fresh tattoo can still throw up a detail we didn’t cover. If that happens, write to us. Questions go straight to the people who write and edit the guides.

Questions
worth sending

The best questions start with something you’ve already read. Name the guide and the section, then tell us what you’re trying to decide. Here are some of the questions we’re glad to get.

Timing a wine trip. You’ve read Best Wine Touring Seasons In Australia 2026 and want to know how your dates fit the season it describes.

Planning a trail. You’re reading the Grampians Peaks Trail guide and the access section doesn’t cover your starting point.

A drive we described. You’d like more detail on part of the Melbourne to the Victorian snow fields route.

Personal-care timing. Something in Swimming After A New Tattoo wasn’t clear. We can explain what the guide says, but your artist or GP has the final word on your own healing.

A point in an explainer. You want a step in Local SEO in Australia for 2026 spelled out further. We’ll explain it, but we don’t take on the work ourselves.

B · Process

How it
works

01

Read the guide first

Look at the byline and publish date at the top so you can tell us exactly which piece you’re asking about. Then note the section where the gap is.

02

Send it in one message

Use the contact form or email [email protected]. Include the guide’s title and what you’re planning. That’s usually all we need.

03

We write back

Replies go out within 24–48 hours, in plain English. If the answer depends on live conditions, we’ll point you to the official source to check.

C · Limits

When to go
elsewhere

We’re an online guide site, so nothing is sold or booked here. For some questions, a guide site is simply the wrong place to ask.

A snowy mountain landscape viewed from a roadside, with snow poles, a winding road and a car side mirror in the foreground.

Snow poles beside a mountain road. On the day, conditions come from the road agency, not from a guide.

Urgent safety matters. In an emergency, call 000. Don’t wait on an email.

Live conditions, park alerts and closures. Check the official park authority or road agency on the day you travel.

Bookings and tours. We’re not a travel agent or tour operator. Contact the cellar door, campground or operator directly.

Advice on your own skin or treatment. We’re not a cosmetic tattoo clinic. Ask your artist or a health professional.

Marketing work. Our digital guides are explainers. We’re not a content marketing agency.

Short
answers

Is the reply personal advice?

No. Like the guides themselves, our replies are general information. Each article links to our Terms, which explain this in full.

What if my question shows the guide is wrong?

Then it’s a correction, and we want it. No guide goes out on the strength of a single source, so we check the point again before anything changes. You can read more in How a Guide Gets Checked.

Can I suggest a whole new guide?

Yes. See article ideas to find out what helps an idea along. More general questions are answered on Reader Questions.
